A random thought. I’ve been thinking for a while now that tumblr is the next big thing after Facebook, Twitter, etc. The intuitive flow and ease of tumblr, as well as it’s multiple content type nature, lend it to a streaming style of blogging, as well as being an easy starting platform for users who want to get into blogging.

Over the last month, Woothemes have been discussing tumblr and tumblog style themes and designing them, as well as Obox Themes releasing their microblogging theme collection. Both of these are signs, in my opinion, that the tumblr “revolution” has arrived in South Africa.
